If you are experiencing issue with your exhaust fan, please see the below steps to consider before requesting a technician visit:
- Is the exhaust fan motor functioning properly, or is it making unusual noises or vibrating?
- Is the exhaust fan cover or grille obstructed by dust, debris, or other objects?
- Is the exhaust fan air flow adequate, or is it weak or nonexistent?
- Is the exhaust fan switch or timer functioning properly, or is it stuck or malfunctioning?
- Has there been any recent work or activity in the bathroom that could have caused damage to the exhaust fan or its components?
- Is the bathroom door being left open or closed during use, and is this affecting the air flow and ventilation?
- Is the bathroom being properly ventilated during and after use, or is there excess moisture and humidity?
- Is there any visible damage to the exhaust fan duct or tubing, and is it properly connected to the fan and the exterior vent?
