If your heat isn't working, here are a few things you can do:
- Check the thermostat: Make sure the thermostat is set to the desired temperature and is set to "heat" mode. If the thermostat is battery-powered, replace the batteries and ensure the thermostat is functioning correctly.
- Check the circuit breaker: Check the circuit breaker box to make sure the breaker for your HVAC system is in the "on" position. If the breaker has tripped, turn it off and then on again.
- Check the air filter: A dirty air filter can reduce airflow and cause heating problems. Check the air filter and replace it if it appears dirty.
- Check the vents: Ensure all vents in the condo are open and unobstructed to allow for proper airflow.
- Contact building management: If none of these solutions work, contact your building management to report the issue. They may be able to send a technician to assess the problem and make any necessary repairs.
It's important to address heating problems as soon as possible, especially during colder months, to ensure your safety and comfort. Should none of these solutions resolve the issue, we may need to dispatch a service technician. Kindly notify us at maintenance@delrentals.com and we will work to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
